So to start off I'm getting transferred to Hopkinsville ky. And I'll
be staying with elder sanders. So no new companion. This week has been
pretty standard. Visiting a lot of people. Then on Thursday we got the
call that all 3 of us are being transferred and they are putting in 3
sisters here. So the past few days have been packing and cleaning and
saying goodbye to people. It will be fun to go to a new area with a
companion I already know. We're leaving Tuesday so dont send any
letters or anything till I figure out our new address. I don't know
anything else to say really about this week. I'm sure I'll have lots
to say about our new area next week.
 Love y'all
Elder Neyman
(The first 4 pics are from the branch presidents wife she sent me on messenger as they celebrated Caden's birthday early before his transfer tomorrow, she was so sweet and even contacted me ahead of time to find out some of our birthday traditions and his favorite treats)

Man it sounds like you need some grandkids mom. (Talking of our McPhail family Easter picnic where Brycen and Paycen were the only children). There's no little ones
left. And by the way I do remember making those diaramas like paycen
made. This week was really fun. We got to go to a members farm this
week and feed and pet her elk that she has. Then she gave us some
antlers she had. Which is awesome. She also sent one home for me. So
if you get a package from Kentucky with an antler in it keep it. She
sent that so I could make a coat rack when I get back.

This last picture I'm just being a dork. Other than that it was a normal week. Today we get to go fishing and go on exchanges. So that's going to be really fun. I hope y'all have a good week. Love y'all

Hey mom. So we ended up watching conference (all 5 sessions) at the church. One of the things that stood out to me was from elder rasbands talkWe must act on the first prompting. When we second guess or even third guess our feelings we are putting off the spirit. If you follow that first prompting you will be right 9/10 times. First promptings are pure inspiration from heaven.
So that is something I'm going to work on. Responding to first promptings. We didn't have any investigators really come to conference. I think a few watched it at home. Man brycen is like mini me. Man that is weird that Nate is 18 now. Which reminds me that I'm going to turn 20 this month. That is really bizarre.
So this week... honestly it's hard to remember what happens during the week. It really starts to blend into one. The only things that were out of the ordinary were when we helped a member put some windows into the house he is building. Now you may say that's not hard. Well it is when these windows are 6 feet by 8 feet and weigh 200 pounds. It took 4 people to carry it and lift it in and 2 more to hold it and screw it in. Then the other thing was when we helped a neighbor. He was getting gravel for his driveway and he backed the dump truck driver into a pothole. So we came over and helped lighten the load and dig around the tires so a tractor could pull him out. We also got to go to the temple this week. It was really good to go. It was an all day thing sense it's a 3 hour drive each way.
Other than that it was a normal week besides conference. I hope everything is good at home. Love y'all.
The person taking the pictures only took ones where I wasn't ready and didn't know till we leftElder Neyman

How ey mom. So this week was pretty good. So it was a bit hard this week.
We were low on miles so we had to bike a lot Wednesday we had to bike
20+ miles then Thursday we did 10-14 in freezing cold rain. But Friday
was good because we went to see a member and he is building a house.
It's gigantic. Even by the wests standard. It has 4 bedrooms 1 office
a game room/bedroom a living room and dining room and a possible
theater room. Now you'd say that's almost our house. But the living
room is the size of ours and kitchen/dining room combined that's also
a dance floor.  and then has a kitchen big enough to put a table in
and has a dining room. Each bedroom is bigger than yours and your
closet put together. The possible theater room is a big connecting
room with a dome ceiling. One of the bedrooms has a handmade
decorative wood floor with over 5000 pieces. And the member and his
father in law are building the whole thing them selves. Here's some
pictures.
Then on Saturday we got to help another member do some farm work and help put in a fence. And yesterday we got to go to the branch Presidant's house and have tocos and chocolate waffles and fried alligator tail. Which was really good. So our teaching pool is kinda scarce. weve had to drop people. but we found some new people last week so well follow up with them this week and ill let you know how that goes. It's been a pretty good week. I can't wait for your package. I hope all is well at home. Love y'all.

Hey mom. So this week has been really good. I've enjoyed being down
here in Kentucky. My new companions are elder ihler and sanders. They
are pretty cool. This week has been fun. We went and helped someone
mulch their yard this week. We walked dogs for a shelter a few times
this week. We met some people that could be investigators. I've made
pumpkin chocolate chip cookies twice this week. I gave a small talk on
Sunday. Then we went fishing today. So it's been pretty fun. Sorry
it's not more detailed. I haven't written in my journal this week
because it's been packed but I'll write stuff down and let you know
next week. Also my new address is 2331 benton-briensburg road KY. And
could you ask jer if he could send me another bottle of protein?
Thanks mom. Love y'all
Elder Neyman
Ok ihler is from Idaho and he's more quiet and reserved and has 3-4
transfers left. And sanders is from Nevada (Henderson) and he's like
the exact opposite of ihler and has been out one transfer longer than
me

Monday, March 13, 2017

Hey mom. So this week is going to be a bit weird. So I first have to
ask you a question. Did you send that package you were talking about
yet? I ask because I'm getting transferred. I'm not going far. I'm
going to Calvert? City and I'm going to be in a trio with elder
sanders and iler? So I don't have a lot of time to email today so
please tell everyone I'm sorry for not writing them. We have to finish
packing up because we need to leave at 7 tonight to head over there.
Elder Crawley is getting transferred too. He is going to Smyrna. So
we're going to Calvert city tonight then elder Crawley is going to
wake up at like 2 am to head to Morgantown to drop off and elder and
pick one up to go to transfers. It's weird and complicated. I'm sorry.
So just let everyone know I love them and I'll talk to them next week.
Love yall
Elder Neyman

And here is some video of us tearing that bathroom out from last week. I finally got the videos

Also we taught a primary class yesterday. Here's part of it

Caden and his companion Elder Crawley on their last day together.

Hey mom. That's a pretty cool text that you got. Very unique. I
haven't been able to look over it yet so I'll let you know next week.
I'm feeling better this week. Lavin is doing ok. We haven't been able
to see her recently so I'll update you when we go see her next. I
haven't made any recipes yet because we haven't been able to go to the
store yet but we'll be doing that today. I'll let you know how those
go. Spring break. Hhhmmm.... the most memorable thing was just
spending time with everyone. I don't remember what we did just that we
had fun together. Sorry I can't be more help. You inspire me every
time I get an email from you. Thank you. There was one thing that..
nope two things that happened this week. One was that we helped a
member demo her bathroom so she can remodel it. It was dirty hard
work. We also cut up part of the floor sense it was rotted. I don't
have the pictures on my iPad but I'll get them from my comp and send
them to you when I can. The other thing was that we came very close to
having a tornado in our town. The towns by us had it go through but it
missed us. It was very windy and loud but we just went right to sleep.
Sorry there's not much to report this week. We got zone conference
this week so I'll tell you about that. I hope everyone is doing well
there. Love y'all

Hey mom. It's going good. Not much is going on here. We've been
working with lavin still but it's slow progress. I would love to
answer your question and everything but I'm exhausted. I didn't get
much sleep last night. So could you tell people I'm sorry for not
emailing them? I just want to sleep right now. I promise to make it up
next week or maybe later today. Love y'all

Hey mom. My week has been good. Not much going on. It's been just
cloudy lately. It sounds like you guys have been having a fun time. In
that picture my house is the one on the right.
Don't worry mom you
were and are a very good mom. Sorry I don't have much to say this
week. There is some stuff going on with one of our investigators but
it's kinda personal stuff and we don't know all of it. But I'm doing
good. We have exchanges and zone conference this week so I'll let you
know how that goes. Oh I forgot we gave service. It was gross because the
lady that owned the house before the lady now has a bunch of big dogs and
kept them inside and the floor was nasty and had hair and who knows what on it
Tell everyone I love them.

Playing risk on P-day

I was yellow. I lost. But I took out like over 100 of blues guys (my comp) with
like a handful of my guys so I think I did pretty good
Along the Ohio river

Friday, February 17, 2017

Yes I did get your package. Thank you mom. I really like the clothes
you sent me. I've been wearing them for the past few days. What made
you decide to send me them? That's awesome that Nate is starting
mission prep. I wish I had gone more. I only went to like 2 of them.
When is he going to put in his papers? There wasn't a whole lot going
on this week. We've been working with an investigator to stop smoking
and she's making progress. Her name is lavin. Like Laban. We went out
with a member to visit some people and took a picture with my comp.
And it sounds like Nate is doing good. I like the new missionary
schedule because I'm not much of a morning person and it lets us
customize our schedule. It's not too different. I look weird in this picture. And I can't remember what animal that is. Other than that it has been cleaning the apartment (oh by the way there is mice here and we are trying to catch them) and learning the area which is pretty much learning a bunch of small towns. Hope all is well at home. Love y'all

Monday, February 6, 2017

Hey mom. So Illinois is pretty good. It's a little colder than
Tennessee. It took about 5 hours to get up here because we got lost
when we had to get gas and ended up in bowling green Kentucky. Oops.
But we made it. My new comp is elder crawley. He is from California.
It is crazy that's it's been 3 states in a year. My new address is
1431 s granger St. Harrisburg Illinois 62946. Oh by the way this is
our apartment before we cleaned it. It was bad when I got here.
(they just didn't clean) I think the river we crossed was the Ohio?
I learned Beth is on track for baptism but Michaela is on the fence.
Love, Elder Neyman

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

Hey mom.  So this week has been eventful. There's only 3
big things I remember. One is I got to baptize someone. It was really awesome!
Her name is lacy. She was the sisters investigator. It was an ordeal because the
water was really hot and I had to do it 3 times because her foot kept
coming up. The other thing was that we had the cops called on us for
the 4th time. Be use we were "too persistent". That was fun. And I'm
getting transferred to Illinois. So tell everyone to not send me
letters till next week when I get my address. So I don't have much to
say because I'm going to leave wifi soon so make sure to tell people
sorry for me not emailing them. I'm going to eldorado. We cover the
bottom third of Illinois split into two areas. I will cover the eastern half.
Here's the area I'm in now and the one I'm going to. And the size is
relative. So my new area is 4 times as big as the one now.Hope all is well. Love y'all

Monday, January 23, 2017

Hey mom. So it's been raining here and there but not super bad. It's
been really cloudy tho. I'm glad they (Jody and Abby and Jaynee)
are doing good. I remember my pinewood derby. It was a lot of fun. I'm glad
they (Brycen and Paycen) are having fun doing that. That's really cool that you helped
with that project. It looks really cool. It sounds like bishop (Rogers) is
filling into his roll and doing well. So Beth and Michaela are doing
well. We taught them the plan of salvation last time and they love it.
She's still reading the Book of Mormon and asking questions and really
progressing. They love coming to church. Besides that it's been
tracting in the rain and knocking knocking knocking. We met some more
new investigators this week so we'll see where that goes. Also they
changed the mission schedule so we have 2 more hours of p day ( it
starts at 8 instead of 10) and a few other things that make it easier
to transition to home life and let you have more freedom in your
schedule. That's about all I got. Hope y'all have a good week. Love
y'all.

Monday, January 16, 2017

Hey mom. So this week has been really good. It has been really warm.
It's been in the 70s all week. But people say that happens all the
time. So this week has been really normal. Only one highlight. We sat
a baptism date with Beth and michaela and possibly Hayden. I want to
write more and send you my journal pictures like I promised but we had
wifi problems today and I just now am getting to write. So next week.
I hope all is well. Love y'all

Monday, January 9, 2017

That's so cool that it snowed. The weather out here has been crazy
going from 30 to 14 in the same day. It snowed out here too. I'll put
in pictures. Our church is at 1 now and it's starting to get dark when
we get out too. It's so weird. Man that's awesome that jer has another
sister. I'll get to know another aunt. This week has just been cold.
Very cold. I have to put on 3 pairs of socks and pants and 2 sweaters
and 2 coats and a scarf and beanie and gloves. So I have to layer up.
So this week has mostly been finding. We knocked into a few people but
we haven't been able to follow up with them yet. But I'll let you know
how those go next week. We did follow up with an investigator and
she's reading way more than we ask her too and is super eager for us
to come back so that is awesome. She would have came to church but got
sick so she's going to come next week and we're meeting with her again
this week. Other than that it's been knocking on doors knocking on
doors and knocking on doors. That's pretty much all we've done all
week. There were some funny/ weird experiences but they are in my
journal so I'll take pictures and send them to you next week. Hope you
and everyone else is doing good. Love y'all

Monday, January 2, 2017

Hey mom. So this week was really normal. It was a lot of tracting and talking to people. So I don't really know what to say. But yesterday was really cool. We have been teaching this young girl and her brother and had never met the mom. So we went and dropped in on them and the mom was there. We thought she was not going to be interested and skeptical sense it has been 2 random guys coming by and seeing her kids. But she was actually interested and was looking for a church to join to that was awesome. Other than that I don't really know what to say. Nothing special on New Years. We just had to be in at 6 so we just ate popcorn and played games like Yahtzee. No fireworks or anything. So pretty boring. It's crazy how time flys and it's 2017 already. I just got a little over a year. Hope all it well at home. Love y'all
